This so reminds me of some of my attempts to make a fully working Tachikoma spider-tank bot including the retractable wheels on each foot :)
hmmm... and after that, I remember also trying to make a roverbot version of the Quatro
followed by an all-terrain roverbot with a design similar to the Bandit Hummvy
oh well... :)
